Learning From My Gambling Failures

I have been betting on the internet or at land based gambling halls for a good many years. I have been taught, the addiction can take a hold of you and you will not even realize it till you are broke. Especially if you are on a run. I have gone through countless tens of thousands of clams in just a little period of time and even today, I will go a bit too long. It feels like you are only enjoying yourself up till you decide to pay attention to your loss and the guilt settles in, and of course you keep advising yourself "I can earn the money back" ad nauseam. It never works. Then you feel queasy in your gut and the more you try the more rapidly you spend.

When you discover that you are up, Remain on the UP! When you begin to squander, don’t inform yourself, "well only 1 more" and again and again, believe in me, this scheme RARELY ever works. Say you are gambling on one armed bandits, keep an amount set aside before beginning your gambling. DO NOT exceed this cap, regardless of how tempting. If you happen to succeed, put the winnings in an alternate pot. Don’t spend your payouts regardless of what happens. Once you have gambled through your beginning predetermined range, stop. Call it quits, whether it’s on the web or in a brick and mortar gambling hall, don’t stick around. At all times remember, there no doubt will be another day, another time. Obviously, this tactic is able to function for any game that you enjoy, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, blackjack or any other game.

Remember, betting should be entertaining not burdensome, nauseating work! If you are not having fun yourself, you do not belong at the casinos. If you cannot afford the hit, don’t ever start.
